Join us at the 9th<\/strong> <\/strong>International Greenhouse Gas and Animal Agriculture<\/strong> (GGAA) conference, a gathering of leading scientists in the field of greenhouse gases (GHGs) from animal agriculture. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The conference\u00a0will be taking place\u00a0in\u00a0Nairobi, Kenya<\/strong>\u00a0in\u00a0October 2025<\/strong>, hosted by the\u00a0International Livestock Research Institute<\/a>\u00a0(ILRI) and the\u00a0Norwegian Institute of Bioeconomy Research<\/a>\u00a0(NIBIO).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the 9th <\/strong>GGAA<\/strong>, you’ll have the chance to delve into cutting-edge research, connect with experts and participate in lively discussions covering GHG mitigation, measurement techniques, advanced modeling, and on-farm practices. You\u2019ll get to discover insights into policies addressing agricultural impacts on GHGs and stay updated on the latest scientific developments. There will also be field visits you can join to national parks, farms and rangeland sites, including ILRI\u2019s Kapiti conservancy and research station on the outskirts of Nairobi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Who should attend? <\/h4>\n\n\n\n

    We invite international scientists and policymakers, especially from Africa, to share their work in livestock-related climate adaptation and mitigation. Participants include academic scientists, students, governmental research institutions, policy makers, and private industry representatives in agriculture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Our\u00a0last conference was in 2022<\/a>\u00a0at the University of Florida, USA,\u00a0which attracted close to\u00a0400\u00a0delegates from over 40 countries, including renowned speakers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
